Is there ever going to be a currency system in MiniMonos?

Funny you ask that… how bout you check back on Monday to see if I still need to answer this question :D.

Is there ever going to be any multiplayer games?

Hehe, two of the games we are working on are going to be multiplayer! The one at the beach, I am sooo super excited about!

When can we expect new games and what will those games be?

I can’t give away a lot of details, but we have a couple of games in development at the moment, which we’re releasing over the next couple of months. One of them is based at the Recycling center, but will be quite a bit different from the current recycling game. One is going to be played at the big field, and another is located near a beach!

When can we expect the Tradez Shop to open its doors?

Well I just saw the finished artwork for the interior today, so it’s not too far away. It looked AMAZING by the way, Babbage will be stoked that he has a new place to hang out. It might start out with only a small amount of trading, but this will get bigger and bigger as time goes on.

Can we expect any new actions like jumping or any new powers like “go bananas”?

As you know I love “go bananas” (its one of the reasons I loved your song so much, because when I sing it in world, bananas start raining!) and we keep thinking of other cool tricks that we could put in there. How did you guys like the Valentines Day hearts? There is a cool party trick that I’m working on at the moment that I really really love. And can’t wait for a big party to let it loose! And new actions… well, I love jumping and I love just playing around in the island, so more actions like jumping would be really really cool… and you never know, one of the new games might be based all around this!

Wow it seems some exciting stuff is coming to Minimonos!

Here is the expectations for becoming monkey mods!

Maxi Monkey Mod Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Maxi Monkey Mod will be:

Greeting new players and helping them with your knowledge about MiniMonos
Letting the MiniMonos team know if you see any inappropriate talk
Telling the MiniMonos team about cool and funny stuff monkeys are doing (we love that)
Chatting and helping to make it fun for other monkeys that you’re with
Inviting other people to come and play on MiniMonos
Attending parties when you can
Giving feedback about good ideas you think of for MiniMonos
Letting the MiniMonos team know if there are any tech problems or glitches

You need to become a Mini Monkey Mod before you can apply to become a Maxi Monkey Mod.

Mini Monkey Mod missions
Your Mini Monkey Mod mission card will be released on Sunday, Feb 21st. This will show you the scores of the missions you’ve been doing and how much you still have to do.

There are 6 Mini Monkey Mod missions:

1. You must be a Top Banana. Any time you don’t keep up your Top Banana status, you stop becoming a Mini Monkey Mod.

2. 10 people who have signed up, have said that you are the monkey who introduced them to MiniMonos. This will be calculated from January 29.

3. You must have logged in 10 different days in a month. This will be calculated from Feb 1.

4. You must have spent 20 active hours, doing stuff on MiniMonos Island in a month. This will be calculated from Feb 1.

5. You must have at least 30 other monkeys who have accepted you as a buddy. This does NOT mean go pester monkeys! It means be nice so they want to be your friend! This will be calculated since you joined MiniMonos.

6. You must have had a two-way message with at least 20 different buddies. This means that they have answered a message you gave them, or you answered a message they gave you. This will be calculated since you joined MiniMonos.

Ambassador monkeys!

Woohoo!

So many of you have been asking us about becoming an ambassador for MiniMonos!

We’re glad to let you know that we can tell you all about it tomorrow!

What we can say right now are these things:

1. It will be a 3-stage process. First, you need to be a Top Banana.

2. Second, you will need to fulfill some tasks to become a Mini Monkey Mod. (That’s like an ambassador in training). Your Mini Monkey Mod task card will be released on Sunday, February 21. However, you will be able to start doing the tasks to earn it before then. What you do this month counts towards your card.

3. Third, once you are a Mini Monkey Mod, we will let you know the tasks you’ll need to do to become a Maxi Monkey Mod. (That’s like being a full Ambassador).

We will tell you about the responsibilities of a Mini Monkey Mod, and the tasks you need to do, tomorrow. You will need to work hard, though. We’re not saying this will be easy!

The Colorme Store will be opening in just a few hours!

When we’re ready to open, Monty and Badgerfox will come onto MiniMonos and let everybody know to log off for a little while they upload the new update. Then you’ll be ready to go to the Colorme Store and have fun!
